There are many different events that could raise money for your organization. Fundraising events don’t have to be large to make a big profit - events vary in size from a small home party with a dozen people to outdoor festivals with thousands of people. Dinners are one of the most popular, tried and true events and there are actually many ways to hold a dinner fundraiser. The menu can be anything from burgers and fries to a gourmet black tie dinner or anything in between. Dinner fundraisers aren’t just limited to “dinner time” either. Sell advertising space in your program/playbill FAQs: Q: What does it cost to have CHICK SOUP performed at our event? A: All events are unique. Royalty and performance fees are mainly dependent upon the size of your event and are based on your actual ticket sales. This helps minimize risk due to lower than expected attendence. The average fee ranges from $3000-$5000 per performance which includes all of the actors and technical support staff to run the performance. A deposit to hold your date is due with your signed contract. A second deposit based on estimated ticket sales is due 14 days prior to the performance. The final payment is calculated based upon ticket receipts and is due immediately following the performance. (minimum required ticket sales for your event to begin to turn a profit from ticket sales alone is (86 tickets at $25.00 each) Q: What do we need to provide for the production? A: The production requirements are very small. There are, however, certain electrical and setup requirements. We have specific stage dimensions, set pieces and electrical requirements detailed in our contract. These include but are not limited to eight (8) identical chairs and one (1) 15-20amp electrical circuits (outlets). Q: Do you provide playbills or programs? A: We have a basic playbill that comes with our production and is included in the performance fee. We also offer a service that will print custom playbills and allow you to sell advertising space to help raise even more funds for your event. If you want to print your own playbills/programs, we can provide you with digital files of logos/show information. Contact us for specific details. Q: How far from the New York area can the show be performed? A: We have the ability to perform the show anywhere in the world. All of our basic rates include travel within a 50 mile radius of Manhattan. Travel outside of that area will require additional travel costs, which may include a per diem for the performers and technical crew. These fees are calculated on an individual basis and will be displayed on your contract when you fill out a performance request form. Q: Can we put on our own CHICK SOUP production to save money? A: Yes, you can always apply for production rights to the show. Contact us for a licensing agreement and royalty/rental fees. Get Started! For example, if your ticket price is $100 per person, and the caterer is charging you $60 per plate, you would list $40 as the ticket price. If a performance is available for the dates indicated on the request, you will be quoted a performance fee via email. There are two basic fees involved in the performance. A royalty fee (per performance) and a technical fee (per performance), which covers all actors and required technicians. The quote will include the
